“As I have practiced it, photography produces pleasure by simplicity. I see something special and show it to the camera. A picture is produced. The moment is held until someone sees it. Then it is theirs.”
Kenwin Jones: Photographer
I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and now study Cinema and Photography at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Growing up, I was always the one who took a little more time framing and composing my loved ones in our family portraits and it wasn't until I served in the US Navy and witnessed the beauty outside of the U.S. when I truly developed my passion for photography. Photography is my therapy and the outlet that allows me to reach out and connect myself to the world and people in it. It has taught me patience, and that life is ever changing, to pay attention to the little things, absorb it and try my best to understand things better. It has not only changed my perception on life, but has showed me the beauty in people, helped me gain courage and most of all, it has taught me to SEE without the camera. I would love to take your picture.......
